Let’s talk corsages and boutonnières. They, too, can be a statement piece in floral on your big day. With unique and maybe unexpected blooms, these tiny bouquets worn on your wrist, dress, or tux can be a formal (or not so formal) design dream.

I’m not sure this wonderful guy needs much of an introduction- but for those of you that are newer around here or haven’t had the pleasure- meet Alex Jimenez our lead event planner. I consider Alex my first big deal hire. I watched him work and speak to clients and staff in a way that I immediately appreciated- you could see his kindness, expertise and zero-ego working style. A coffee and a conversation or so later we were lucky enough to sn**ch him up two years ago. He TRULY cares about his clients and fellow staff members. He’s fun and funny all the time. He will roll up his sleeves no matter what. His wit will leave you belly laughing and his friendship is unconditional. We love him so much and feel lucky to call him a Wildflower team member.

Nanci Griffin joined our Wildflower family almost a year ago. There’s quite a back story because Nanci was my manager at a past creative job. She took a chance on me and hired a very young and naive creative. She had a very long career as a painter for that company and was ready for a change. She’s a newer florist but has a major love for gardening and knows her way around stems for sure! Her skills have refined and she is truly blossoming at our little shop - and we would be beside ourselves if we didn’t mention her insane color sense. She is sweet, patient and kind and low key hilarious. We love our Nanci!! Xo

Something bold, delicate, evergreen and timeless, colorful, trending or eclectic… flower installations are our thing (and we really love designing them).

Let me introduce (or reintroduce!) to you Megan Deppe .blooms ! Our very own Iowa State grad ❤️ 💛 Megan came to us with a degree in event management and many years of experience. She’s a whiz at systems and truly spearheaded making sure our subscription service was amazing and on point. Her floral skills are off the charts and many of the delivered pieces you receive are made by Megan! She has now taken on a hybrid roll in currently working with Alex but still blesses the shop with her presence! On top of being a great, cool-under-pressure team member; she is also fun, has great nails and is socially conscious! We love this girl! Xo

Our dear clients, Emily and Brad celebrated 5 years married with matching tattoos inspired by their wedding day floral by Wildflower. Even sweeter is the tattoo artist submitted the work to LA times and these beauties have been featured in an inspiring article about meaningful flower tats. What an honor to have our flowers be a part of Emily and Brad forever. 🥂 Happy 5, you two!
