Capital Crossroads was honored to support the Greater Des Moines Partnership's recent intercity visit of more than 170 leaders from Commerce Lexington Inc.!

To showcase innovative approaches to workforce housing in our region, we hosted a delegation for a tour of Star Lofts along The Avenues of Ingersoll & Grand and a conversation with Scott and Molly Cutler of Cutler Construction Company.

Regional Council Members representing the City of Waukee, Polk County Housing Trust Fund, and Hubbell Realty Company also joined The Partnership for a panel discussion on the state of housing in Central Iowa and how cross-sector collaboration plays a key role in driving progress.

When communities work together, great things happen 🚌🏡🌳🚴‍♀️🏢

Last Friday, we were proud to join regional partners in hosting nearly 75 elected officials, business leaders, and community stakeholders for a sneak preview of DART’s new Route 4, a Crosstown loop that connects five metro cities for the first time.

This tour highlighted how thoughtful planning and coordinated investments in transportation, housing, placemaking, and economic development help create connected communities, expand opportunity, and support growth throughout Greater Des Moines.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible. We’re grateful to be part of a network of partners committed to moving our entire region forward, together 💛
