Through the month of November, I have 20 photos being displayed for viewing. I encourage you to visit The Lift whenever is convenient for you and check out the show! I feel this exhibit is different from the type of photography most people know me for. There's not much from concerts, and not much in black and white. For the better part of this year, I've been busy selecting and printing photos to best express myself and where I've been at the last 5-10 years, emotionally, mentally, and in some cases physically.

It is my hope that this show accomplishes a greater artistic goal than simply being a concert photographer or a documentarian. Ultimately, is is a personal examination of loss, but also attempts to identify how we are all in some ways defined by the futures we will never see realized.

Torture w/ Skinned Alive and False Providence, in Des Moines, June 20th

Hung out in Iowa City for a few days. This is the second year of their Pokeys Fest which is a great selection of Iowa-based punk, metal, and rock. It's all DIY and it's something you should definitely have on your radar for next year.
