These are great books about tales and local lore. Stories range from ghosts to Bigfoot from all over the country. The series of books is fun to read.

VM5 - by AppyDroid

This is a cool little device. The VM5 has different programs built in - Parakeet, Word, Yes-No, Oracle, Rapid Word, Ouija, VOX, Tri-Word, Random Ghost and of course Tetris. This device is not WiFi or Bluetooth.

I like the VM5 because it’s similar to an Ovilus but without the high price. You can also update this online with any new apps. There are also build-ons. I got the ghost box attachment that turns this into an SB-7 spirit box.

The battery lasts a few hours before needing recharged. The voice is very 1980’s computer. Sometimes it’s hard to understand, but it puts the words on the screen. I’ve had good luck with this at various locations.

MEL METER - REM - ATDD

This is a Mel Meter with REM Pod and ATDD (Ambient Temperature Deviation Detection). ATDD will detect temperature deviations and give a high or low tone for a +/- 5 degree change. It’s also got a built in REM Pod with an antenna.

I like to put these in an active area while I check out someplace else close by. I can listen for the tones.

SHADOW PEOPLE

There’s not too many books about Shadow People. This is a short but ok book on them. It does history and theories about them. You can pretty much find this info online. It’s good for a reference book.

GHOSTED

This is a good book that explores the theory of “Haunted People Syndrome”. This is one to read if you’re into paranormal theories.

IOD40 PARANORMAL DISTURBANCE DETECTOR

This is a “Ion, Electric Field, Lightning and Paranormal Disturbance and Distortion Detector 911”. That’s a long name for something I bought on eBay a while ago. I originally bought this as a cool thing to put on the shelf but it actually works. I’m not sure if it detects paranormal disturbances or not, but I’m going to try it out.

It was built by Information Unlimited and was sold on Amazon at one time. It is supposed to detect changes in weak electric fields. Normal detectors are not sensitive enough to detect these changes. These weak fields are thought to accompany paranormal activity.

MEL METER - SB (Spirit Box)

This is a Mel Meter with the normal (EMF,Temp and flashlight) but it also has a built in Spirit Box. On the side are adjustments for volume, sweep and rate.

The only thing I don’t like about this is the volume. It’s not very loud. If you’re in a very quiet room, it’s ok.

THE BLACK HOURS

I’m not real into the demon side of the paranormal. This is an interesting book about them and is a very good reference guide should you ever come across a demon. It’s well written and worth reading.

MOTOROLA TALKABOUT

If you’re investigating a large location you need a set of walkie talkies. This version is rechargeable and has a built in weather radio.

Keep in mind that using a walkie talkie, you can set of things like REM PODS, KIi meters. Etc…

This is another one of my favorite books. I’m real into non-fiction if you can’t tell. He approaches the paranormal from an experimental psychologists perspective. Very interesting if you can follow along. Persinger is famous for the controversial “God Helmet”.
