This Batch featured crystals and copper jewelry with inspirations from iconic Black Jewelers of the 20th and 21st century!

Creating pieces that show his true dedication and love to jewelry making, Bill Smith found his way into jewelry making by way of also dancing and working part time soldering and casting, grounding his inspiration within Blackness and semi-precious crystals. Furthering his reach with his designs for Cartier and broadway plays.

The pieces inspired by Bill Smith were the copper ‘S’ earrings, the caged Black tourmaline, the cube selenite, the cube onyx, and drilled clear quartz!

Curating and crafting in the style of spirals and jewelry by way of Art Smith as a constant motion extension of art, especially on the body. Art Smith designed pieces for dancing collectives and Vogue magazine, eventually opening up his own storefront and setting himself into being one of the first acknowledged jewelry designer of the 20th century! The pieces inspired by Art in this batch are the spiral earrings, the carnelian necklace, Botswana orb, Angeline ART Sun, and spiral drop earrings!

Drawing inspiration from the Matriarch of Jewels and Design, Winifred Chenet-Mason, a trailblazer and world changing woman who used her creativity to see her designs in department stores —-something near unheard of within this time Winifred bravely pioneered through the jewelry making industry with copper and intention, as well as teaching the knowledge of the trade itself to future generations! The crystals inspired by Winifred are the fluorite tridrop earrings, the copper trail earrings, amethyst cube necklace, rose quartz pink pendant!
