CLM Staff Spotlight: Patrick Melzer
This month, we’re proud to spotlight Patrick Melzer, Adult Mental Health Court Clinician. Through community-based therapy, Mental Health Court coordination, and statewide training for court staff, Patrick is helping strengthen understanding, compassion, and support for individuals navigating mental health challenges and the legal system.

Patrick’s work focuses on meeting people where they are, helping connect individuals with treatment, resources, and the support needed to build stability and move forward. His collaborative approach has helped strengthen partnerships between CLM, the courts, and community providers across New Hampshire.

One experience that continues to inspire Patrick is watching participants graduate from Mental Health Court — moments that represent not just completing a program, but renewed hope, stability, and a fresh start.

Center for Life Management has expanded clinical treatment options with the launch of a state-of-the-art Depression Center.

The Depression Center is a place of hope, healing, and innovative treatment for individuals with major depressive disorder. It offers comprehensive evidence-based therapeutic approaches and advanced treatment options designed to meet each individual’s unique needs.

Our specialized services include: Individual and Group Therapy, Medication Management, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and Spravato Medical Intervention.

Strong as Granite is a platform from NHDHHS dedicated to increasing awareness of the wide range of mental health and substance use resources and support services accessible across New Hampshire.

We are excited to share that we will be adding an additional branch location that will allow CLM to further expand our service capacity.

Opening on Monday, June 29, 2026, this thoughtfully designed and renovated space will serve as the new hub for our Child, Adolescent and Young Adult services and will be located at 39.5 Birch Street, Derry, New Hampshire.

CLM provides our region’s most comprehensive and specialized clinical services, individual and group therapy, evidence-based treatments and mental health care for children, adolescents and their families.

Our specialists work with children experiencing serious emotional difficulties such as depression, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, autism, disruptive behaviors, substance use disorders, and trauma associated with emotional, physical or sexual abuse.

Emotional health impacts each area of a child’s life including family, school and social relationships. CLM encourages a wraparound approach that pulls together other community resources to address the interconnected areas of a child’s life.

CLM is now offering Spravato - a new treatment option for patients suffering from depression.

Spravato is a nasal spray form of esketamine, a medication derived from ketamine, which works differently from standard antidepressants. Instead of targeting serotonin or dopamine like many common medications, Spravato acts on glutamate, the most abundant neurotransmitter in the brain, helping to restore healthy communication between brain cells and improve mood more rapidly than conventional treatments.

For the 5th year in a row, CLM was proud to be part of the Windham Pride Festival!

The colorful atmosphere was full of energy and joy, the weather finally cooperated, and it was wonderful to connect with so many community members throughout the day. We enjoyed sharing information about our programs and services, handing out giveaways, and watching visitors of all ages take a spin on our prize wheel.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table and helped make this year's event another memorable celebration of community, inclusion, and pride.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering resolve of the Allied soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.

CLM remembers their service, their sacrifice, and the generations forever impacted by their heroism.
