My Father's Footsteps
My Father's hobby was a silversmith. I've inherited his passion and love of creating custom jewelry.

and there will be my page. I'm in the process of having it linked to my square POS so customers can purchase online.

Lori is so fortunate to get a spot on the Turquoise Iris's podcast! We all know she deserves it.π
Sometimes the bravest thing we do is begin again.
This week on *The Motivatarian Exchange*, I sat down with Lori Morgan, founder of TomandChickpea, furniture artist, shop owner, community builder, and one of the most genuine creative souls you'll ever meet.
After the sudden loss of her husband Tom in 2017, Lori found herself navigating unimaginable grief while raising two young children. A year later, she picked up a paintbrush.
That simple act became the beginning of an entirely new chapter.
Today, Lori owns a thriving creative shop in Derry, New Hampshire, supports local artists, teaches classes, helps her community, and creates colorful work inspired by nature, emotion, texture, and connection.
In this conversation, we talk about:
π creativity as healing
π building a business from the ground up
π finding purpose after loss
π interior design, color, and artistic expression
π creating community through art
π trusting yourself enough to begin again
One thing I loved about Lori is that she doesn't separate her life from her art. The story of Tom, her children, her community, and her creativity are all woven together.
And honestly, that's what makes her work so meaningful.
