It’s always satisfying when you hand the keys over to the homeowner for their new in-law apartment. This was a fun but very challenging project. Because of the square footage we were adding we had to increase the square footage on the original house.

We’ve had a productive week between the siding getting installed, and the drywall is almost complete, and the miscellaneous framing is done. Mud tape and paint are next! With tile in the near future.

Sun tunnels are just about buttoned up and insulation is coming right along! We’ll be on to drywall soon and siding is slated for next week!

We’re cranking along on our next project. All water tight, and roughed in. Insulation and siding are up next. Before we know it it’ll be time for drywall and paint! Follow along as we update this project.

It’s time to start getting this project wrapped up and hand over the keys to the homeowner! We’ve got our friends from National seating and mobility here today to start installing the elevator! We’ve got most of the lighting and finish plumbing done. All our baseboards are pre cut, painted, and ready for installation. Touch ups and finish paint is getting wrapped up. Definitely the most rewarding part of the project. Stay tuned for pics of our next project. The frame is going up now.

It’s always fun when we get to this stage of a build. Seeing all the finishing touches going on just feels satisfying. Tiles done a chunk of the finish plumbing and electrical are complete and while that’s happening we’re working hard on all the trim , finish woodwork, and paint. We even had a pair of doors that were passed down through the homeowner’s family that we refinished. Check back to see the finished product. It never disappoints!

It’s Always my favorite part of the project when the finish work gets going! Cabinets and countertops are in and waiting on final adjustments. Master bathroom is getting a custom tile shower, and tile floors as well as both 1/2 baths and entryway. And the elevator shaft is almost ready for mud and tape!
