For my granddaughters! We don’t accept bare minimum men.
I want my daughter to grow up knowing that love should never require her to become someone’s maid, manager, or second mother. I’m teaching her by example that sharing a home means sharing the work, because nobody deserves applause simply for handling the responsibilities they should already understand. I hope she learns to notice consistency, kindness, effort, and the little everyday choices that show whether someone truly respects her. More than anything, I want her to feel so secure in her own worth that she never confuses being tolerated with being cherished or being helped occasionally with being genuinely supported. I know I cannot protect her from every disappointment, but I can give her the confidence to recognize healthy partnership when she sees it and walk away when she doesn’t. ❤️

For my granddaughters! ❤️
I want my daughter to grow up trusting what she feels instead of being taught to excuse hurtful behavior just because someone might have a crush on her. I never want her believing that teasing, disrespect, cruelty, or making her uncomfortable is some secret form of affection that she should tolerate. I’m going to teach her that kindness matters, that her feelings deserve to be heard, and that she never has to accept poor treatment just to keep someone interested in her. If a boy likes her, I hope he learns to show it with respect, patience, and genuine care. And if he cannot do that, I want her to know she is allowed to step back without questioning her worth. Raising her to recognize the difference between attention and respect matters deeply to me. ❤️

🌿 When “I’ll order on payday!” turns into silence
Running a small business means wearing every hat — creator, packer, photographer, customer service, bookkeeper. And when someone reaches out excited about a product, asks questions, requests photos, talks about ordering “next Friday,” and then disappears… it genuinely takes a toll.
Not because we’re upset about the sale itself.
But because time is a real resource for small business owners. Every message we answer, every custom photo we take, every option we pull together — that’s time we could be spending sewing, packing, updating listings, or helping another customer who is ready to order.
We absolutely understand waiting until payday. Truly. Budgets matter. Life happens.
But when someone ghosts after multiple check‑ins, it leaves small shops in a strange spot:
We hold inventory aside.
• We pause other orders.
• We plan our workflow around a purchase that never comes.
• And we’re left wondering if we should follow up or simply let it go.
If you’re chatting with a small business and your plans change, a simple “Hey, I’m not able to order right now, but thank you!” goes a long way. It keeps things kind, clear, and respectful — and it helps us keep our workflow running smoothly.
Small businesses thrive on communication, honesty, and mutual respect.
Thank you to everyone who shows up with that energy. You make this work feel lighter and brighter every day.
XOXO To all the great customers!
