The Naugatuck Valley Health District is conducting a Temporary Food Event Training session on Monday April 27, 2015 at 10 am and Wednesday April 29, 2015 at 6 pm at the NVHD Offices, 98 Bank Street, Seymour, CT.

It is designed for Temporary Food Event Operators, Food Booth Operators, Event Volunteers/Staff, and Food Vendors.

The training is free of charge.

Took the cutie to lunch today before the snow started coming down again in its own special, annoying way, and I learned a few things:

1. The Olive Garden has some tasty stuff.

2. If you go into a restaurant with someone who is hooked to an oxygen tank - they find you a seat pretty quick.

3. If you tell your server, at the end of the meal, that the oxygen is about to run out then you get your check really, really fast! (heh heh)

Jake has been eyeballing me all evening - he's clearly trying to tell me something but, sadly, I don't speak Betta.

There goes some of my groceries sliding down my backyard from the parking area to the back door (which is way down there!). I couldn't back into the yard with the snow, the groceries were too heavy to carry, and I couldn't find any strong volunteers to help ... so I made a few runs with one of the girl's snow saucers and all set! It actually made unloading groceries fun.

We are looking for a new person for Snaggle Foot for some day care and miscellaneous jobs. Your first assignment would be to watch this cutie, Willow, every Tuesday and Thursday in your home.
