Spent the afternoon exploring Kilgore Books and honestly… this might be one of the most EscapeWorks-coded places in Denver.
Hidden in Capitol Hill, this independent used bookstore is packed floor-to-ceiling with sci-fi, fantasy, philosophy, graphic novels, strange little discoveries, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you feel like you just stumbled into a secret side quest. The shop has been serving Denver since 2008 and was literally named after a Kurt Vonnegut character, which somehow tells you everything you need to know.
If you love solving mysteries, uncovering stories, and finding weird hidden gems around the city, this place absolutely deserves a visit.
