Last day of GBSI: Antibody Validation summit. It's time for all of us to decide if there are standards for antibody validation that we can all adopt reasonably and successfully.

The end of a long day at the Antibody Validation Summit in Asilomar, CA. Not much consensus yet among all parties. No larger authority is willing to enforce regulations and interests are not yet well aligned. I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Sitting in the room today: Journal editors, Industry leaders and World-Class Academics. All the stakeholders are here. And there is already large agreement on the magnitude of the issue. Can we find a solution together?

The GBSI: Antibody Validation conference has begun. We begin by "Defining the Problem." Last night we heard from Duke Unversity professor David McAdams who spoke to us on setting standards using game theory. Today we start the discussion.
