As a healing artist and a sound artist, we came together because we were both looking for binaural frequencies that are effective tools, both for physical healing and spiritual cultivation.

The Third Tone Project listens into the fractured places in our control systems. It does not seek to erase dissonance, but to reveal its medicine.

Dissonance becomes the threshold of transformation, the moment when what has been divided begins to find its way to a new wholeness. Through overtone-rich, high-potency sound, Third Tone invites a descent into the revelatory discomfort of frequency.

In this space, the body remembers that coherence is not the absence of conflict, but the weaving together of opposites, the third tone born when two distinct vibrations meet and entrain.

Coherence is a relationship between body and being that allows a third way to arise.

What if sound is cellular? Italian researchers Valenti & Atlante (2024) propose that our mitochondria, the engines of our cells, listen.
Not metaphorically. Literally.
Their study shows that sound vibrations can travel through the cytoskeleton and shift how mitochondria behave: how they move, how they make energy, how they communicate, and even how they shape our resilience.
This is the heart of the Third Tone Project.
Our frequencies are highly specific.
