What an enormous loss. This morning we lost a friend, mentor, and founding board member of our 501c3. We will miss your wisdom, dignity, respect, and compassion for those whom we help. Godspeed, Landri Taylor. Until we meet again.

Today, ExecConnect turns 10 years old! Every single day since inception we have engaged business and community leaders with impactful and inclusive initiatives throughout the greater Denver area. From assisting in the launch of the Denver Bike Share Program to helping to re-connect the Globeville, Elyria-Swansea communities with the rest of the city and mentoring at risk youth on an ongoing basis, we are so proud to look back at all of the "work" we have done and have yet to do. Our vision is simple -- "to be different and make a difference." Here's to many more and thank you to every past, present and future member for making this organization what it is to date.

Heartwarming story about a young man who has struggled with so much personally, academically, and socially, who tragically lost his mom recently.
He wants to be a musician and learn to play the guitar. He wrote a song about the loss of his mom, and cried as he sang it to me.
After mentoring him all year and nearing graduation this month, ExecConnect managed to have Grammy-award winning and CMA Platinum artist Darius Rucker call this young man, and hand over an autographed guitar, wishing him peace.
This is why we exist.
Thank you to so many for so much. And thank you to Darius Rucker and Mark Scot with Darius Rucker Productions for putting this together. You all changed the trajectory of a young man’s life.
