How do you move a 19,000 square foot warehouse?
Not alone.
Over the last couple of weeks, as we’ve relocated the WorkShop, we have depended deeply on our community, and especially on our Bridge Builders, our church partners, corporate partners, and community friends who have shown up for us in incredible ways.
They prayed for us and over us.
They packed boxes.
They sorted materials.
They brought their employees.
They brought food.
They cleaned.
They donated pallets.
They loaded trucks.
They brought their own trucks.
They drove across town.
They hired movers.
They took down shelves.
They bought our boxes and tape.
They carried heavy things.
They stayed late.
They came back again the next day.
And in every act of service, they reminded us what partnership really looks like.
At Mile High WorkShop, we often talk about “building bridges” with our partners, creating pathways toward stability and belonging for people rebuilding their lives. Over the last several days our partners didn’t just talk about that vision. They embodied it and are meeting us every step of the way.
To every church, small group, volunteer team, and person who stepped in to help us carry this transition forward, thank you for loving us like a neighbor.
This move has been a massive undertaking, but because of this community, we have not carried it alone.
We are deeply grateful.
Jacqueline’s story is one of resilience, courage, and community. It’s also a story of what’s possible when we work together.
It took both (JoC) and for Jacqueline to find consistency, belonging, and a place to begin again.
Real change doesn’t happen in isolation.
It happens through relationship, and she experienced that in meaningful ways through both JoC and the WorkShop.
Today, Jacqueline is working full time and building a new future. Her story is a reminder that when we link arms across our city, we create pathways that are stronger, wider, and filled with more hope.
We love you Jacqueline and thank you for sharing your story! 💛
