Well, it only took me a few decades, a broken leg, and some surgical hardware to finally start Mazel-Tees.
I’ve had this idea rattling around in my head for years — fun, sarcastic, Yiddish-inspired designs for the mensches, yentas, and alter kockers of the world. But life kept getting in the way. Then a month ago, while fly fishing in the beautiful high country of my home state of Colorado, I managed to break my leg in a way that even the X-ray technician said, “Oy.”
So, after surgery and being stuck at home with nothing but time and my own thoughts (a dangerous combo), I finally did it. I started designing. And designing. And designing. Now here we are: Mazel-Tees — just one guy, making the shirts, candles, and tchotchkes your bubbe will either love… or judge you for.
