May 2026 be the year that instead of hearing “I discovered a new, young actor and made them a star” we hear “I discovered a 40, 50, 60, 70 year old actor and help catapult them forward.” May 2026 be the year that everyone overtips, and thanks their teachers and essential workers. May 2026 be the year that all of my friends who are wanting love or family or community find it. May 2026 be the year that we practice inclusivity. May 2026 be the year that we all prioritize self care, and look out for our neighbors, and love hard, and give more and cherish every moment we have together. May 2026 be the year we shift our societal axis toward truth, justice, peace, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all people. May 2026 be the year we run forward in the direction of our hearts and grand ideas and shed the skins of snakes. Here’s to the upcoming year of the horse. Steady, reliable, beautiful, strong, connected, wise, gentle horses living with the land and carrying us toward a new horizon filled with hope. #2026

My favorite quote is from Robert Frost, “Freedom lies in being bold”.

My hope is that 2026 brings forth a beautiful boldness in us all to freely be who we authentically are and reach for whatever stars we find most exciting. May we all have incredible adventures that lead us to amazing places within ourselves and make fantastic discoveries in our hearts and minds. May we be courageous and kind and may this next revolution around the sun be one of the best ones yet!!!!!

Schedule downtime: Block specific days for complete rest - no auditions, no rehearsals, no networking
Stay vocally healthy: Maintain your instrument with extra hydration and vocal rest during holiday gatherings
Update materials: Use the quiet period between December 20-January 5 to refresh headshots, reels, and resumes
Connect authentically: Attend industry gatherings not just for networking, but to genuinely celebrate the season with your creative community

The White House will not be recognizing World AIDS Day today. However, in honor of the people I have loved in my life who have passed from and those who are currently living with HIV/AIDS as well as the countless souls I do not know personally, I will honor you and recognize this day. You are loved. You matter. You are beautiful and brave and deserve to be cared for and acknowledged.

“The US State Department has announced that it won’t recognize World AIDS Day today, December 1st. In fact, Federal employees have been instructed to “refrain from publicly promoting World AIDS Day” in public messaging. It won’t be recognized at the Smithsonian, we’re told, where the AIDS Memorial Quilt was displayed and honored in Folklife Festivals and exhibits. It won’t be acknowledged at The Library of Congress, apparently, where more than 5,000 belongings recognizing the impact of AIDS in the US are now in storage. And it certainly won’t be remembered at the National Mall.”
