It can be challenging raising a child with a disability in the public school system particularly when your child is Black. You are not alone. Come join our support group next Tuesday the 28th from 6:00pm - 7:30pm! Share challenges, celebrations, resources, and good advice from people who understand and know.

This Disability Pride Month, Show & Tell wants to highlight children, youth, and young adults with special interests! If your child has a special interest, reach out using the information on the flyer!

Solana Rowe, commonly known as SZA, is an R&B singer famous for hits like "Snooze" & "Kill Bill". SZA was recently diagnosed with Autism. Her diagnosis mentions her higher sensitivity to clothing, sound, taste, and touch. It also mentioned how SZA learned ways to mask her Autistic traits before she was formally diagnosed.

Women are around four times less likely to get diagnosed with Autism than men. SZA's diagnosis not only comes as a major for the Autism community as a whole, but for Autistic women & Autistic Black women, too.

We’re having our next Asian Parent Support Group next Tuesday, July 14th! Hosted by our Parent Educator, Coco Kincaid, these are safe spaces for Asian parents with children with disabilities to come open up about any challenges or victories they are facing!
