Let’s meet Deborah from … they will have their studio open tomorrow for the Out There Art Fest on June 6 from 2:00 - 6:00!
Deborah Kelly (Playful Days Decor), a mixed-media artist who frequently creates whimsical pieces, once thought she couldn’t do art due to a visual-spatial learning disorder. With the wise words, “What you perceive as a limitation is actually a gift,” her teacher guided her to approach art from a spiritual/meditative place. This approach encouraged her to detach from the perfectionism she so often embodies. Deborah hopes to motivate others to let go of preconceived notions of what makes someone an artist and embrace being “Playful on Purpose.”

Playful Days Decor will have its studio (S112) open with an invitation to play and, if desired, a demonstration of/encouragement to try an intuitive approach to art. Other artwork, including stickers and magnets, will also be on display and available for purchase.

Playful Days Decor ( ) has also collaborated with Raevyn Morgan Artistry ( ) to create the series titled Intentional Duality. Each work examines the shadow self through art, reflection, and creative vulnerability. Through contrasting yet connected artistic approaches, the exhibition explores shadow work, inner tension, healing, and identity using creativity as a mirror for both the unseen and the evolving self.

Emi Faltinson (Tomato Sandwich) is a multimedia artist known primarily for her whimsical and joyful ceramic work. A proud Colorado local, she brings her creativity to life using sustainable materials sourced from local businesses. When she’s not making art, you can find her teaching after-school theatre classes, working in education at a local nonprofit, and exploring the great outdoors!
