Phish tacos for ๐๐ฎ

I love frying banana blossoms as a fish sub. It gives the layered flakiness, the right bite and it takes on flavors so well. ๐๐พ

Use my taco seasoning recipe(see previous post), plus salt & creole seasoning. Mix it with your favorite flour(I used chickpea) and corn meal for a nice texture.
I topped with a homemade slaw and pineapple & avocado salsa. I made my own tortillas using .mexico but you can use whatever tortillas youโd like. Enjoy! ๐

Its so how about we all make our taco seasonings at home without the additives. Plus you can tweak it to your taste buds.
My go to recipe:
1/2 cup chili powder
1/3 cup ground cumin
1/3 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup Hungarian(smoked) paprika
2-3 TBS ground cinnamon
1/8 cup Mexican oregano
1/8 cup ground coriander
1/8 cup black pepper
1-2 TBS cayenne pepper
I usually add the salt directly to the food so as to not overdo it. ๐

Sunny Davis woke up craving pungent foods, then kept going on about craving grits. So here we are:
Red curry grits topped with mango & cilantro ๐คค ๐
Ingredients, roughly ๐
1/2 cup yellow grits
2 cups Water
1 TBS Red curry paste
8oz Coconut milk
1-2 tsp Salt
1 TBS Minded garlic
1 TBS Cilantro, chopped
1/2 small Mango
Boil water. Add salt & grits. Stir constantly for 2 minutes. Add paste, garlic and coconut milk. Stir until desired consistency is reached. Turn off heat, stir in half the cilantro.
Pour into your favorite bowl. Top with diced mango and remaining cilantro. I added h**p seeds for added texture and protein ๐ Enjoy!
