Weโve all heard them ringing across campus, but have you ever wondered how that music is actually made? ๐โจ
Itโs the Carillon in Williams Tower! A Carillon is a massive musical instrument made of at least 23 cast bronze bells, played from a manual keyboard that allows the musician to control the expression and volume of every note.๐ผ
Want to hear it live? Join us for a special Carillon concert on July 5th from 5:00โ6:00 PM at the Ritchie Center! ๐ถ
Get a peek at how it works and see DU Lamont School of Music professor Joey Brink | Author, Musician in action!
