Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day honoring freedom and reflection.

We remain committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and care within our communities.

We were proud to support the recent Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety, a training program for residents, fellows, and medical and nursing students focused on leadership, quality improvement, and teamwork.

Copic’s Physician Risk Manager, Sue Sgambati, presented on Just Culture and communication and resolution programs, and we were also pleased to provide scholarships for several residents to attend.

The project strengthens how patients’ care wishes are shared and honored across care settings and emergencies.

Last week, Sarah Snow, Copic’s Director of Underwriting, spoke on a panel at the Hospital Insurance Forum 2026 Conference.
