Any guesses as to why?

Colorado now has more school districts on four-day weeks than any place in the nation — with little research on the benefits Money moved more than 100 districts to forge ahead with the largely untested strategy. Parents and teachers learned to love it, but nobody knows its impact on kids and learning.
