This is the world through my eyes. I tend to shoot mostly landscapes and wildlife, but will also stop and capture anything that attracts my interest.

This 15"x18" framed print is up for auction as part of Colorado Photographic Arts Center's annual fundraiser to help support programs like the Veteran's Photography Workshop. The auction runs through tomorrow night.
This is actually the first time this image has been printed. I've been sitting on this one and hadn't done anything with it yet. Thanks Samantha for choosing it!
Here's the link to the auction!

Our local PBS station did a story on some of the veteran artists that are a part of a Veterans Art Show at the Denver Art Museum. They aired a shortened version of it during a broadcast. Here is the link to the longer version.
I'm proud to be a part of this exhibit, not only as an artist, but also as one of the curators.

"Holiday Bustle"
It turns out, getting the lights of passing cars in front of Union Station can be tricky....because every car stops and waits for people to cross the street. After several attempts, I got what I was looking for.

"Festive Union"
It's always a fun time shooting Union Station in the evening, and the holiday lights make it even better!

"Holiday Travel"
My buddy Darren White Photography and I spent an evening at Union Station photographing the lights and trains. I liked the idea of combining the motion and blur of the trains and people with the stillness of the station and a few travelers.

"Longs Summer Night"
It's been a crazy, busy couple of months around here, but I was finally able to work some time into my schedule to get out and shoot some night skies again. I shot this with my good buddy Darren White Photography a few weeks ago in Rocky Mountain National Park. It's always a good time to get out with him and be under the stars.

It's been a minute since I've posted some new photos, so here we go...
This was taken one early morning a few months ago on a quick trip with a couple of buddies. It was my first time seeing Ship Rock, so I was trying to come up with a different composition than what so many others take.

"Path to Totality"
I set a timer to take photos every 5 minutes during the eclipse. These shots are spaced 10 minutes apart, showing the progression to totality.
I have a image like this from the last lunar eclipse that I used as a reference to build this image.
I'm also working on using all of the images to create a timelapse that shows the eclipse from start to finish.
