๐พโจ Say Hello to Nola! โจ๐พ At just 6.5 months old, Nola is already a total showstopper! ๐๐ฅ This beautiful Shepherd mix turns heads everywhere. Seriously... this pup knows how to make an entrance. ๐โจ
Nola and her siblings were dumped in a rural farm field. ๐ When they first arrived in foster care, they were shy and unsure of the world around them. But once Nola realized she was safe, loved, and cared for, her true personality began to shine. Just take a look at the videos and you'll see a happy, carefree puppy enjoying life. โค๏ธ
๐ฅฐ Because Nola has been raised in a quieter, country setting, apartments and densely populated urban environments will likely be too much stimulation for her. ๐ณ๐ก She'll thrive in a home where she can continue building confidence with someone who enjoys helping dogs learn about the world. She has the kind of lovable personality that makes people fall for her almost instantly. Nola would do best with another friendly dog in her home to show her the ropes. ๐พ๐

๐๐พ๐ค Say Hello to Bear! ๐ค๐พ๐ If you like floofers, Bear is certainly going to command your attenion! At 10 weeks old, Bear is already a showstopper. His gorgeous black-and-tan coat is incredibly softโso soft, in fact, that he feels more like a bunny than a puppy. ๐ฐโจ Between his fluffy fur, curious eyes, and adorable puppy antics, Bear has mastered the art of stealing hearts.
Bear appears to be a German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix, giving him both looks and brains. Weighing in at 17 pounds, we expect Bear to be 60 pounds or more.
Like any young puppy, Bear is curious and eager to please. He loves to play, investigate new things, and earn your love and attention. ๐พ๐พ He'll need a family committed to continuing his training, socialization, and helping him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog.
Because Bear is expected to be an active dog, he is not a good fit for apartment living. He would thrive in a home with space to run, play, and enjoy outdoor adventures. ๐ณ๐ก โค๏ธ
If you would like to adopt Bear, please complete an application at: https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/ The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, and microchip.

Check out this former Rez Dog โ pretty impressive, huh? ๐๐พ
When Louie was around 6 months old, someone dumped him at a gas station on the reservation where he then survived for a couple of weeks depending on the kindness of strangers. When Tina Clarke heard about him, she drove straight there after work and picked up this handsome boy. โค๏ธ
Like so many dogs who have had a rough start, Louie was shy and uncertain at first. He hadnโt experienced much of the world. New dogs made him nervous and sometimes he barked because he simply didnโt know how else to say, โIโm uncomfortable.โ
But his adopter, Erica, saw something deeper the moment she met him โ intelligence, sensitivity, and an eager-to-please heart. ๐ฅนโจ She patiently introduced him to the world, took him on outings to PetSmart, worked on training, confidence building, and trust.
And LOOK at him now. ๐๐ถ
Which brings me to something I recently heard from a โ5-starโ training facility that left me incensed.
A trainer said:
"We have encountered many rez dogs over the years and they all have the same characteristics and will never be the type of dogs who will trust many people. It's a genetic defect because they are feral animals. "
Yeahโฆ absolutely not. ๐ซ
Fear, caution, uncertainty, lack of socialization โ those are not genetic defects. They are survival skills. There is a huge difference. Dogs, and humans too, who have had difficult beginnings often need patience, guidance, structure, and compassion โ not labels rooted in ignorance.
So please, be thoughtful when choosing trainers. If your common sense tells you something sounds like nonsense, trust your gut.
Meanwhile, Louie will just keep out here proving people wrong. โค๏ธ๐พ

๐๐พ Are you seeking a:1๏ธโฃ Play pal for your current dog 2๏ธโฃ Someone who thinks you hung the moon 3๏ธโฃ Well socialized pup who makes friends easily with dogs & humans ๐พ๐
At around 3.5 months old and 20 pounds, Porter is one of those puppies who seems to fit effortlessly into just about any situation. Sweet, affectionate, smart, social, and easy to love โ heโs simply a really nice little dog. ๐
๐ถ๐ Guessing his breed mix is a fun little puzzle โ Google leans toward Smooth Fox Terrier and maybe some Pointer๐พ with probably a whole committee of other breeds mixed in. Whatever the recipe was, the result is one very affectionate and people-oriented puppy. And yesโฆ did you notice the cute little cropped tail? (That happened before joining the rescue.)
We expect Porter to stay on the medium/small side as an adult. Heโs slender, small b***d, and rocking those adorable long legs.๐พ๐
Porter genuinely enjoys being around people! He has that soft, trusting way about him that makes you feel instantly connected to him. Heโs eager to please, loves affection, and happily settles in beside you after a little playtime or adventure. ๐
And dogs? Heโs a social guy there too. And living with 5 adult dogs ranging from small to large, Porter is well versed on proper doggie etiquette. He already knows how to make friends wherever he goes. ๐ถThis happy pup would enjoy another like-minded, play pal in his home.๐
One of the BEST things about Porter is his personality balance. He enjoys toys, puppy adventures, and zooming around with friends, but heโs not a nonstop chaos gremlin who requires Olympic-level exercise. Heโs actually a pretty content little guy โ playful when itโs time to play and perfectly happy to relax, cuddle, nap, and hang out nearby. ๐
And smart? Oh yes. Porteris already 95% house trained with frequent potty breaks and walks on leash like a little pro. Heโs mastering all the puppy basics and is ready to slide right into his future familyโs routine. โจ๐๐ At night he sleep in his comfy wire crate.
