Through chess, conversation, and mentorship, participants will:
• Develop critical thinking skills
• Build positive connections with peers and mentors
• Explore goals and plans for the summer
• Grow in confidence, leadership, and compassion

📅 Program Dates: Starting April 8
🗓 Days: Mondays & Wednesdays
⏰ Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM

This program is designed to support youth who are looking for structure, mentorship, and a positive environment to grow and lead.

​Our MACM Facilitator Incubator Internship is an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire students to grow and learn the dynamic of trust, team building, and chess.

Big news—our students are making moves! A group of RiseUp students just secured their internship opportunity in Make a Chess Move’s Summer Facilitator Incubator, where they’ll be trained to lead chess-based workshops that build focus, confidence, and connection. As part of the program, they’ll sharpen their facilitation skills, learn to lead with voice and presence, engage their community with purpose, and reflect on their own strengths as leaders. We’re so proud of their drive and can’t wait to see their growth this summer.
