We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our most beloved shop dog Aloysius.

He meant so much to all of us here at Talulah Jones and to the greater community he inspired. He is forever treasured.

Al brought his own magic to the store and we keep that alive by uplifting the breadth of love he allowed us to feel. Do come to see us and keep his magic alive . His portrait is proudly positioned above the checkout and he is always part of us. A special thank you and big hug to all our fellow Al lovers.

To our goodest boy, Al, who helped us finish our lunch, walk our owner and pause for treats. He brought the truest joy to everyone he met. We forever cherish the time we had with you and the love (and many cuddles) you gave us. You are greatly missed, sweet man. We endeavor to continue to spread the pure joy and love that you are by embracing whimsy (and fish stew) and the delicate charm that is you.

Rest well, dear one. We know you and Fred are watching over us and we are grateful. Frolic your sweet little hearts out. It was our honor to know you and to be held in your fanciful flare and we promise to carry that in our hearts...to share it at every possible turn. We will miss you in an unexplainable way because we loved you so tenderly...as you taught us to love each other.

We grieve because we love...to the measure of that love do we grieve.

Al floated away in Sweden surrounded by his family on May 16th, 2026.
