Consistency is something that is never given, it is something you must work towards and build in the self. I thank God for giving me the OPPORTUNITY to wake up everyday , to build and maintain a healthy mind and physical vessel. I preserve gratitude for these moments.

I remember coming to asking for recommendations of Marital Arts Gyms for a bully problem that was going on with someone special at the time. I realized it was a chance to cultivate something that I was always interested in and wanted to gain a deeper understanding of…Self Defense. To be able to protect MYSELF and OTHER around. Little did I know how much of a liberation I was in store for.

It has became an obsession that I have the honor to share with so many men and women of combat. The brother and sister hood in it all. The foundation of self confidence that has only grown stronger. 365 days and 260 classes attended. I am beyond proud of the consistency myself and All my partners and especially the coaches for fortifying myself and the men and women around me with these tools to protect ourselves… thank you to for providing the space and upgrades

Oh and I forgot to mention…. I got my Green Shirt promotion like 8 days ago ☺️ courtesy of !
I got head kicked, my legs kicked out multiple times (thanks ) and knee’d in the solar plex twice to get it ( you bastard)…but I didnt give up and I made sure to fight back 🤣! After everything ive been through this year… the pain from that is minuscule! I am by no means the best, but I told myself I won’t be the same man I was at the beginning of this year and I’m 100x better than when I started. So thank you GOD for the opportunity to prove myself right! CHEERS to year 1 and many more to come! lets keep going up and crazy part is.. I AINT EVEN AT MY PEAK! 🗻

This last ast Saturday I celebrated my 32year of life 🥳 the best way possible I knew!

Climbing a Mountain ⛰️! Not just ANY mountain tho.. my first (as a Colorado native) 14er! 14,275 ft HIGH IN THE AIR! What started off as a conceptual idea to climb the mountain of the self became full blown reality as I sat at the base of Gray’s Peak wondering to myself.. “can I REALLY do this?” and “am I crazy for wanting to??” The answer to both of those would soon be answered in real time.. one foot in-front of the other…that was the answer. if I could continue to move forward it wasn’t a matter of HOW I would reach the top, but WHEN?

3 days of camping and 4 1/2 hours of scaling, you can see for yourself we made it! overcoming the elements, the fear, the question if we were physically able, the time it would take up AND down, almost PULLING the entire trip. but NO! WE CLIMED THAT S**T! And I couldn’t be more PROUD of doing it!

So for everybody that texted/ called / message / posted on my facebook.. THANK YOU! Thank you for taking time out of YOUR day to wish me a happy birthday 🎂I appreciate you more than words can describe. To my brotha taking the time to organize and set up this crazy idea and your boys for helping! To my family and friends for the BEST support system anyone could ask for, especially after this insane year so far… YOU guys are the reason I keep climbing! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!! to 32 rotations and 100000+ more becoming the smartest, sharpest, strongest/ healthiest version of self. For every obstacle..just remember …ONE foot in-front of the OTHER…The Mountain is You ☺️!

Took a road trip to the great state of TEXAS and got to experience my FIRST Eclipse.. ☀️/ 🌙
All the hard work and weeks of practice to show up and show out with all these amazing people 🙌🏾😭 to see all of the parts moving to make something like this happen is just proof that god is amazing and I can’t wait to do it again!
