Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when the promise of freedom finally reached the last enslaved Black Americans in Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, after years of delay by those who profited from their oppression.

Today, Juneteenth is both a celebration and a call to action. 📣

We give thanks for the resilience, leadership, and liberation struggles of Black Americans whose courage has helped expand freedom and democracy for all of us. As voter suppression persists to silence Black voices, we recommit to pushing back against every attempt to diminish Black political power.

Honoring Juneteenth means celebrating the freedom we have received, and doing the faithful work of protecting it so future generations can live in dignity and full belonging.

Most of us want to live in communities where our privacy and dignity are respected. But when the PEEPS Act (SB26-070) failed to pass, it left our location privacy at risk, putting our families and neighbors in harm’s way.

We know real change starts with us. Cities and counties across Colorado can come together now to protect our communities and defend our rights.

That’s why we’re inviting people of all backgrounds to join the Together Colorado Surveillance Working Group and organize real protections where you live. Reach out to us at [email protected] to get involved. ✉️

We thank Together Colorado leaders and partners who stood up for our communities, as well as State Senators Lynda Zamora Wilson and Senator Judy Amabile, State Representative Kenny Van Nguyen and Representative Yara for CO, and the Institute for Justice in championing the PEEPS Act.

Check your mailboxes! 📬 Ballots for the Colorado Primary Election go out this week on June 8th!

Election Day is on Tuesday, June 30th, and polls close at 7pm. The primary is an important election where voters choose which candidates will represent their political party in the general election. If you're unaffiliated, you will receive two ballots.

Check your registration, vote early, and make a plan to vote at JustVoteColorado.org 🗳️

This is our moment to come together across race and background, make our voices heard, and defend our freedom to vote. Even in Colorado where we have strong voting protections, attacks on voting rights and attempts to silence Black, Brown, and immigrants are on the rise.

Be a voter! Our power belongs in the hands of everyday people, and our voices are strongest when all of us refuse to be silent.

Home should be where we lay our heads, hug our loved ones, and make memories, but for too many in Loveland and across Colorado, safe, stable housing is out of reach.

We’re proud to support Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness with LoveFirst Community and partners this Saturday, May 30, 5:30–8:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loveland. Join us to listen, learn, and organize for a Colorado where housing is a human right, not corporate asset.

Don't miss this on Saturday! Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness.

As part of our continuing Legacy Mission to help eradicate homelessness, LoveFirst Community is joining with our partners from Together Colorado to present this important documentary and community conversation.

Beyond the Bridge explores how communities can address homelessness in a comprehensive and compassionate way. Following the screening, local leaders from city government, healthcare, nonprofit organizations, faith communities, and individuals with lived experience will come together for a meaningful panel discussion, including our very own Pastor Michael Stein, about the pressing issue of homelessness in Loveland.

Mark your calendars:
Saturday, May 30th
5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 1730 W. 12th Street, Loveland

This is a presentation along with our partners at Trinity Lutheran; Minuteman Press of Loveland; League of Women Voters, Larimer County; Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Loveland; Together Colorado; Minuteman Press of Loveland

This is more than a film—it’s an opportunity to listen, learn, and work together toward hope and healing in our community.

Eid al-Adha Mubarak! Together Colorado wishes you and your loved ones a joyful and blessed Eid.

Especially now, we hold close those in our Muslim community who are feeling fear and grief after the recent tragic shooting at the San Diego Islamic Center that took three lives. We stand with you, and we will keep organizing for a world where everyone can worship, learn, and pray in peace.

Boulder Co. mobile home neighbors push to buy $42.5M park before new owner prices them out 05/25/2026

Corporate investors are buying up mobile home parks across Colorado and pricing families, seniors, and longtime residents out of the communities they helped build.

That’s why residents of San Lazaro in Boulder County are coming together to organize and buy their community, keeping it in the hands of the people who live there.

"If they cannot save this park by becoming their own landlord, the rents will start causing a lot of people to lose their homes, and that will be a huge pain for the entire county if that happens," said Susan Gibson, a longtime mobile home resident and Together Colorado leader in the fight for housing justice.

At Together Colorado, we know that housing is a human right, and that communities thrive when they belong to the people who live, work, and worship there.
