CrossFit Train
Train is located in a HUGE space right by the Broncos Stadium! Come WOD with us! Functional fitness,
What if the secret to long-term fitness isn’t always going harder?
At Train, we love intensity. We love PRs. We love seeing athletes accomplish things they never thought possible.
But we also know that longevity is built in the moments where we choose to move well, scale appropriately, and focus on what our body needs that day.
Sometimes that means adding weight.
Sometimes it means taking weight off the bar.
Sometimes it means pushing the pace.
And sometimes it means slowing it down.
Fitness isn’t just about what you can do today. It’s about building a body that allows you to keep showing up years from now.
That’s why you’ll see our coaches helping athletes modify workouts, adjust movements, work around injuries, improve mechanics, and train with intention. Not because it’s “easier” - because it’s smarter.
The goal isn’t to always win today’s workout.
The goal is to still be doing the things you love 10, 20, and 30 years from now.
That’s what we mean when we say we’re training for life. 💪

Coach Tip: Olympic Weightlifting Competition Prep! 🏋️♂️
Judging at a weightlifting meet is usually much simpler than people think.
Each lift is evaluated by 3 judges. After your attempt, they’ll each give either a white light (good lift) or a red light (no lift). You only need 2 out of 3 white lights for the lift to count.
The main things they’re looking for:
✅ One continuous motion on the sn**ch and clean
✅ Stand all the way up before the jerk
✅ Locked out elbows overhead
✅ No press outs
✅ Control of the barbell and your body until the down signal
That’s it.
If you’re already sn**ching and clean & jerking in class, you’re probably more prepared than you think.

Monday tone: show up, sweat a little, fist bump a lot.
Around here, Mondays are better with good people, loud cheers, and at least one person saying, “That workout looked easier on SugarWOD.”
It’s the people who walk through the doors a little tired, but still ready to work.
The ones who fist bump before the clock starts, cheer until the last person is done, and make hard work feel a little lighter just by being next to you.
That’s what makes this place what it is.
Not just the workout.
Not just the score.
It’s the people who make the hour fun, keep the energy high, and remind you that starting the week strong doesn’t have to be so serious.
Let’s have a great week, Train!

Never Competed in an Olympic Lifting Competition before?
Here’s how it works:
• 3 Sn**ch attempts
• 3 Clean & Jerk attempts
• Best Sn**ch + Best Clean & Jerk = Your total
Athletes lift from lightest weight to heaviest weight, and you’ll have time between attempts while other athletes lift.
For this competition you can power or squat the cleans and sn**ches, and the jerks can be push or split jerks. Make the lift however you can.
We’ll have weight classes, so that you will compete against athletes of a similar size, but you will all lift together.
No singlets (please), and no other experience required beyond knowing how to Sn**ch and Clean & Jerk.
Come join us June 27th at Crossfit Train with for a fun day of lifting, food, community, and seeing what you’re capable of!

This week’s Bright Spot is all about our incredible athletes and the amazing things they accomplished over Memorial Day Weekend. 💪
From adults to kids and teens, we had athletes taking on Murph at Train and others tackling the Bolder Boulder, and we couldn’t be more proud. We love seeing our community embrace fitness both inside and outside the gym. Whether it was many rounds of pull ups, push ups, and squats to complete Murph, running mile after mile through Boulder, or cheering on friends and family, this community showed up in a big way.
We also want to give a very special shoutout to Ruby ❤️.
Ruby () has been working through a knee injury for quite some time, but she continues to show up with determination and a positive attitude. She’s been putting in the work through classes and PT sessions with Jimmy, never losing sight of her goals. This week, she brought back her linked pull-ups and took on Murph alongside the rest of the community.
Ruby, your resilience, consistency, and commitment to your health inspire all of us. We are so, so proud of you!
Keep showing up, Train!. The effort, grit, and support you give each other never go unnoticed. 🙌
