Some great shows are coming right up. After the Devereaux Cup Polo Match in New Castle, CO, this Sunday, I'll hustle back to town to host America's Soul Live on Tuesday, June 16. Our Texas pal and one of ASL's favorite guests ever, Mike Blakely, will join us for a fantastic evening at Foothills Events Space at Foothills Golf Course in Lakewood. Don't miss this one. Some nice June dates coming right up. Hope you can join me on The Western Road, beginning with the incredible Devereaux Cup Polo Match in New Castle, Colorado, on Sunday, June 14. The following Tuesday (June 16), the great Mike Blakely joins Ernie and me for America's Soul Live at Foothills Restaurant and Events Space. On June 19th, I'll enjoy my first appearance at the iconic Nuevo Americana Festival in Jaroso, Colorado...The summer's just getting started, let's all travel down The Western Road.

June's America's Soul Live is gonna be a dandy. Our old friend and ASL favorite Mike Blakely is making the sojourn from Texas to join Ernie and Jon, bringing his award-winning songs and stories to our Colorado stage...and, knowing Mike, to catch a few fish. It's great to have this renowned songwriter/singer and author back at ASL. We'll see you on Tuesday, June 16. As always, come early to enjoy some fine drink and vittles at the Foothills Restaurant.

I'm excited to be invited to perform on Friday, June 19, at the coolest venue in the Northern New Mexico/Southern Colorado Americana music community, Chris Arellano's Nuevo Americana Festival. The venue's site was recently changed to the iconic Little Pink Church in the border town of Jaroso, Colorado. The musical lineup is stellar, with incredible music at every turn. Great food, outdoor recreation, camping, tons of fine music...what more could you ask for? What a spectacular America's Soul Live last night. We did a salute to Raven Records, Jim Ratts' iconic label and recording studio in Denver, featuring some marvelous pickers and singers who have recorded there. Jim & Salli were great, as usual, and keyboard master Rob Lowe was spellbinding. Adding keys to my new single, The Western Road, was a wonderful surprise, with Rob and Ernie killing the solos. Anne McCain's cover of a Dan Fogelberg gem was beyond moving, and Patty Clayton, Gavin Maurer, and Steve Pierce brought marvelous original tunes. Jolly Demis brought the house down with his trademark humor just days after confirming his remission from cancer. An amazing night all around. My journey down The Western Road continues with some great fun on the horizon. This month's America's Soul Live on Tuesday, May 19, will be a special appreciation of Raven Records, with guests including Jim & Salli Ratts, Steve Pierce, Patty Clayton, Jolly Demas, Kyle O'Brien, Gavin Maurer, Ann McClain, and more. Don't miss it. Then, I'm up the mountain to Glenwood Springs for two evening shows at the Historic Hotel Colorado's courtyard on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24...my favorite place on earth! Sunday, June 14, sees me back in the Glenwood Springs area performing for the Devereaux Polo Cup at the Stout Ranch in New Castle, CO. Check this one out. It's a genuine hoot. On Friday, June 19, I'm honored to perform at Chris Arellano's Nuevo Americana Festival in Amalia, New Mexico, on the CO/NM line. It's an iconic gathering, and well worth the travel time.
