Nothing political about this statement. I feel that if you only pay $1000 in taxes a year, you shouldn't get $5000 back, no matter how many kids you have. That just doesn't make sense.

My opinion is that every one should feel safe walking, riding a bike, or driving a car. With that said, if you ride a bike, you need to obey the rules like the rest of us. 90% of the bikes riders I see run stop signs, stop lights, ride on side walk, almost run over people walking. This article doesn't address any of those issues. Come on Westword, your better then a one sided story!
