Denver Puppet Theater

After a glorious 25 years of puppeting at the Denver Puppet Theater, the theater will permanently close. There will be a sale of tons of puppets, inventory at 1/2 price, my show marionettes, puppets and marionettes from the gallery, for your buying pleasure. The sale is Saturday, August 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come on over for a look and to say goodbye. Thanks everyone for a great run. I had a wonderful career with so many wonderful puppet friends.

Cricket, the southwestern tale of a little boy who brags, tricks and talks so much that he gets the nickname, Cricket. He gets himself in hot water when the King comes up from Mexico City to check on the northern outposts. Alas, Cricket, will learn the joy of being "just a regular boy"! Playing now through August 19, 2017. Show times Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 10:00 and Saturday at 1:00.

Coyote Tales is showing January and February 2017. Come howl with this silly old coyote as he gets himself in difficulties due to his boastfulness. Don't worry Coyote always gets out of his problems and maybe even learns something!

The Denver Puppet Theater begins its 21st season September 15, 2016 with Rumplestiltskin. Show times Thursday and Friday at 10:00; Saturday and Sunday at 1:00. Admission $8.00 per person. Shows are good for those 3/4 years of age and older, who can sit quietly in their seats for a 50 minute marionette show.

Aesop's Fables is playing at the puppet theater now through February 2016. Come enjoy The Lion and the Mouse, Hands and Feet, The Sun and the Wind, The Bear's Message and The Boy who Cried Wolf...five great stories with a little lesson to be learned from each one.
