Our hearts go out to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office as they mourn the tragic loss of two members of their agency and a beloved family member. These losses are profound, and we grieve alongside you during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for your service, your dedication to victims of crime, and your unwavering commitment to making our roadways and communities safer. It is especially heartbreaking that your lives were taken by the very danger you worked so tirelessly to prevent.
We honor your sacrifice, and our thoughts and prayers are with your families, friends, and colleagues.

Best friends don’t let best friends make dangerous decisions ☀️🐾
Whether your summer sidekick has two legs or four, the rule stays the same: look out for each other. Beach days, lake days, concerts, late nights - make a safe plan to get home before the fun starts.
Real friends make sure everyone gets home safe 💛
We are tired of watching lifesaving solutions get attacked while families continue to lose loved ones to drunk driving.
A proposed amendment would eliminate funding for implementation of the HALT Drunk Driving Law - a bipartisan measure expected to save more than 10,000 lives every year.
Privacy concerns deserve thoughtful discussion. Attempts to derail a law designed to prevent thousands of deaths do not.
The choice should be simple: protect lives and move this law forward.
We urge Congress to reject this amendment.

Last week was a busy one for the MADD Colorado Victim Services Team! Since 1981, the third week in April has marked National Crime Victim Rights Week. During this time, we recognize the accomplishments of the victims’ rights movement and reflect on how far we have come. As a result, Victim Services staff have been very busy supporting victims and the people who support them across the state. We have attended proclamations in the City of Loveland, the Town of Windsor, the Town of Johnstown, the City of Greeley, Weld County, the Town of Nunn, the Town of Eaton, and the Town of Platteville. We attended Larimer County Victims’ Rights Week Resource Fair, a Tree Planting Ceremony in Weld County, a Safety Fair in Grand Junction, a luncheon for victim service providers in the 21st Judicial District (Mesa County), an awards ceremony in the 17th Judicial District, a Denver Metro Ceremony at PorchLight Family Justice Center, a walk to honor victims in Castle Rock with the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, FBI Denver, and Castle Rock Police Department. We also attended the 1st Judicial District's Courage Walk at the Jefferson County Courthouse. Every day, we honor all victims and survivors whose lives have been impacted by violent crime. We support those who make a difference every day by supporting victims and making our roadways safer. , Greeley Police Department Weld County Sheriff's Office Eaton Colorado Police Department Grand Junction Police Department Colorado's 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office Denver District Attorney's Office Douglas County Sheriff's Office , , ,
