Our client provides customized service to more than 400 clients with facilities countrywide. They have 2.5 million square feet of warehouse storage, extensive transportation capabilities, and logistics services that suit the needs of more than a dozen different industries. They operate under the philosophy that to be successful, they will provide exemplary service and value to their customer’s and they are looking for an Accounting Manager to be part of that. They are looking for someone who is growth orientated and looking for a long-term opportunity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable generating frequent financial reports for senior management. They should track financial information in a well-organized manner and assist the Controller in all aspects related to finance at the organization.

Responsibilities

· Generate financial reports for senior leadership

· Complete, monitor and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple companies

· Oversee/crosscheck payroll processing, AP & AR

· Manage Fixed Assets/Tangible Assets

· Oversee sales input metrics

· Process/monitor quarterly sales and excise taxes and provide detailed reports

· Support Controller in all financial matters of the organization

· Other duties assigned

Qualifications

· 5+ years’ experience in accounting completing financial statements position

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

· Self-starter and team player

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel

· Sage experience is a plus
