AWRA Colorado is a state section of the American Water Resources Association. We are a non-profit, local, volunteer-based organization focused on water-related issues in the state of Colorado. Meetings typically include networking over lunch, presentations by various speakers, and the ensuing discussion. One of the reasons Chimney Hollow Reservoir is such a great site is because of its adjacent location to the Colorado-Big Thompson Project system, which allows water to easily be moved in and out of the reservoir using existing infrastructure.
