A little bit of a throwback to one of my favorites. Garden of the gods hits different in the rain. Something is so romantic about summer showers and playing in the rain. Hayley and Gerard were such champs for sticking though the weather. 🙏🏻
Pro tip for garden of the gods - go in the spring before the crowds get too crazy and choose a week day. If the forecast looks spotty less people will also show up and you’ll get photos like this. 😉

This is why you should be persistent!
Did you know that securing an elopement spot in Estes can be quite the challenge? The highly sought-after locations allow only 6 ceremonies per day, with just 2 at each spot. With spots filling up fast, especially during the vibrant summer and fall seasons, the competition is fierce. But for my couple, I was determined to make their dream a reality. Despite limited availability, I explored every option, even reaching out for last-minute cancellations. And guess what? Persistence paid off—we snagged a spot just 4 weeks out! Remember, sometimes all it takes is a little perseverance and a few extra inquiries to turn a dream into reality.

Intimate moments in the wilderness are the best way to spend your wedding day. The wild flowers in Colorado are something so spectacular. Julia and Davin traveled to Colorado to spend their wedding day together doing what they loved most, hiking and fly fishing. Knowing where to go is the most important part. They valued having privacy and finding a place that still had spectacular views meaning a weekday was a must and finding a lower trafficked trail. Would you elope here?
