Life is GOOD ✨ I feel like a broken record but I can’t get over how important it has been for me to protect my joy given our cultural context. I’m holding the truth and severity of being a trans person in America, but not using it to push out the beauty and magic of being ATLAS WYLDE, miraculously alive on this planet.

Resisting and rejoicing can coexist, our bodies are big enough to shelter our anger while also nurturing our whimsy. I feel unstoppable and I’m using that energy to root deeply in my community and notice myself as I move through my days. I’m sending you as much positivity and delight as I can spare, and hoping you have light to hold onto in the darkness 💛

✨TEN YEARS AGO✨ I created a project that sparked over 1,000 individual video contributions and a TEDx talk, changing the course of my life and my content forever.

Today, on Trans Day of Visibility, I’m revisiting the project that started it all with a ten year update video. I’m still here, I’m still trans, and I’m STILL not going to be quiet about it at all.

Our first nonprofit event a couple week ago was AMAZING! We hosted a Clothing Swap, sent loads of people home with new clothes, and still ended up with a BUSFULL of donations for future Free Thrift events 🫶🏽✨

Now more than ever it’s so important that we build and maintain connections in our communities. These are lifelines in times of crisis, and bouys through hardship. Grateful beyond measure to be surrounded by people who give a damn in such a big way 💛
