- Our first time in the studio (every song we have ever recorded has been at The Keep, we love them big time, our home away from home from day one)
- Our first band photoshoot, in the neighborhood grew up in (no, we definitely did NOT stain the pool deck red)
- Our first EP release & headlining show
- The end of our junior year of college together

Honestly, I don’t think we had even come up with our band name prior to booking this. We had just barely decided to start playing together two months prior. It feels like yesterday and ages ago at the same time. I just remember tossing around a few names that didn’t feel right for a while. Then I drove my little red jeep home one weekend, like I always did, stopping to stare at the bits of poetry I had posted on my childhood bedroom door. A singular word caught my eye. I immediately called the guys to pitch it. Everything fell together in that moment. We didn’t give ourselves any time to second guess or make ourselves perfect. We just did the damn thing. I’ll always be thankful to that version of us for paving the way.
