Pastor Conrad reminded us that self-control isn’t just about resisting temptation — it’s about surrender.

David’s story is such a powerful example of what it looks like to fully trust God instead of relying on your own strength, emotions, or understanding. Even in uncertainty, he continually sought God first and allowed Him to guide every step.

How often do we lean into self-reliance instead of dependence on God? Try to control outcomes instead of surrendering them?

Real strength is found in obedience, humility, and trusting that God’s way is better than our impulses. 🙏

There is power in prayer. And there is power in community.

Worship isn’t just what happens inside the church walls. 🤍

Yes, worship looks like hands lifted, voices united, and hearts surrendered to God.
But worship also looks like serving our city, loving our neighbors, showing up for people in need, giving generously, and being the hands and feet of Jesus every single day. ✨

It’s all worship.
Because loving people is one of the greatest ways we reflect the heart of God.

“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18

The more time we spend quieting our hearts and recognizing His voice in stillness, the easier it becomes to hear Him in the middle of life’s chaos. ✨

His voice brings peace when the world feels loud.
Direction when we feel lost.
Comfort when life feels overwhelming.

God is still speaking. The question is — are we slowing down enough to listen? 🙏
