Day 2 of my Summer 2018 Black and White series...

Another photo of my Nana and her husband on their wedding day this past May. She was 86 when she walked down the aisle for the second time. Let that be a reminder to all that it's never too late to start a new beginning.

I've been swamped with all things wedding this Summer and I'm lucky enough to have a week or so to breathe, catch up on life, and reflect on the precious moments that I've had the privilege to witness and photograph.
Over the course of the next several days, I'll be posting a few of my absolute FAVORITE black and white photos from this season (because black and whites are my favorite!).
To start this series, is a photo of my Nana and her new Husband, Ed. There is no denying their love or the fact that this HAD to be edited in black and white.

So excited to share a few of Kait's Bridal Portraits. I was so honored to photograph her beautiful wedding this past weekend!

Today my Nana will marry her best friend. The theme for their wedding is "Second Time Around" as this is both of their second marriages and the second time that they are committing to a new love, a new family, a new adventure, and a new promise of companionship. Ed, truly is a blessing to my Nana as well as the rest of our very large family. He shows her compassion, affection, and encouragement like no other. I couldn't be happier for these two and hope that everyone who reads this will be reminded that it's never too late to start over.

The cutest kiddies are coming to my camera today at Little Scholars Academy of Lake Norman. If you live in the Huntersville area, I highly recommend that you check out this school for your little ones!
