Dear Samilies,

On Thursday, March 20th, many of our educators will be participating in the Colorado Education Association's Day of Action to advocate for increased public school funding and to protest proposed funding cuts by the state. Due to the high number of staff absences Samuels Elementary School will be closed for students March 20th.

Here’s what you need to know:

✅ No school for students on Thursday, March 20

✅ Breakfast & lunch will still be available at schools across DPS on Thursday March 20

Breakfast will be served from 7:30am-8:00am
Lunch will be served from 11:00am-12:00pm

✅ School will resume as usual on Friday, March 21

We understand that this change may be an inconvenience, and we appreciate your flexibility.
