This is the foyer at my home. She is a hundred plus year old mansion. I designed the condo conversion to minimize changes to this beautiful space. I created a wall finish to compliment the existing woodwork. Here in Capitol Hill we have experienced the rebirth of our city, firsthand. Denver is a community with great heart. The owner suddenly found her daughter and grandchildren living with her. The open kitchen format has given the family a place to congregate.

All finished and ready for entertaining

Papa burned the bacon. Smoke and fire damage resulted.
I refinished cabinets, installed new countertops, some painting.
Happy family has a new kitchen in time for the Holidays.

I cut out center portion of vanity. Finished the scar off with
maple and finished it to match existing cabinet.
Charlie can now roll up to sink and perform normal activities
without getting wet. Satisfying for both of us.
