I had the privilege of celebrating Christmas in Futa Kpejeh, Pujehun District, Sierra Leone with over 300 children attending their first-ever Christmas party and receiving their first-ever Christmas gift. Their joy and laughter were unforgettable, creating priceless memories.
Inspired by the kindness I experienced in my own childhood from U.S. missionaries, Reverend and Mrs. Okife, who would bring us gifts and cherry-flavored candies (To date, Cherry and anything with cherry flavor attracts me and reminds me of their kindness). I aim to bring the same happiness to children in underprivileged communities.
Local authorities expressed deep gratitude, calling the event one of a kind.
This celebration was a testament to the beauty of giving and the power of kindness. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped spread the joy of Christmas!
π Together, letβs continue to make the world a brighter place,
one act of kindness at a time. π
