This rider was passing thru Golden, CO on the way to Chicago… when he took his eyes off the road for a split second and wound up rear ending a truck and bending his fender into his front tire. Rider was OK and Rider Rescue towed him into Avalanche Harley.

This rider called Rider Rescue Motorcycle Towing... this morning to let us know that he and his BMW R1150GS were stuck up on I-70 Westbound in Golden, CO. I asked the rider to send me a pin of his location and I would be on my way.

When I asked him how much shoulder room he had, he said "not much". While I was in transit to the rider, I had him hang up with me and call 911 and request assistance in blocking off the number 1 lane while I loaded up this bike.

Definitely want to personally thank Trooper Galleri of the Colorado State Patrol and the Colorado Department of Transportation who were both out there to help make sure that no cars or 18 wheelers would smack into us as RR got the bike loaded up. Definitely always grateful for CSP and CDOT's help out there... helping to keep us all safe.
