🎶 🎵 This devo today was powerful. What would be the point of witnessing a crime and not calling the cops and ensuring justice was served?
I have witnessed Your faithfulness…. I have a story to tell! We all have a story to tell.
He is good. He is faithful. He is love. He is power. He is wisdom. He is light.
I praise you, Lord! Thank you for your faithfulness.

Earlier this week, a group of eight juveniles were witnessed riding in the streets, sidewalks and in Addenbrooke Park. The juveniles were seen on these electric dirt bikes, performing wheelies in traffic, and driving in oncoming lanes. All juveniles were issued summonses, and the electric dirt bikes were impounded.
As we enter into spring and summer, we want to remind everyone about the rules involving e-bikes. In Lakewood, Electric bikes typically fall into one of three classes, depending on speed thresholds and the type of motor assist:
Class 1: Pedal assist only, with motor assistance up to 20 mph. (After top speed is reached, the motor will stop helping.)
Class 2: Pedal assist or throttle power up to 20 mph. (Bike can operate with or without cyclist pedaling.)
Class 3: Pedal assist only, with motor assistance up to 28 mph.
In the state of Colorado, e-bikes are classified as bicycles (as opposed to motorized vehicles) and have the same rights of the road as traditional bicycles. Class 1 e-bikes are allowed on all Colorado State Park trails where bicycles are permitted.
In Lakewood parks and Jefferson County Open Spaces, Class 1 e-bikes are allowed on natural surface trails and Class 1 and Class 2 e-bikes are allowed on paved trails. Class 3 e-bikes are not permitted on Lakewood paths or trails. The maximum speed for all bicycles on city park paths is 15 mph.

Instead of living in the grip of fear, held captive by the chains of tension and dread, when we release our preoccupation with worry, we find God's hand at work on our behalf. He, our "God of peace," comes to our aid, changing people, relieving tension, altering difficult circumstances. The more you practice giving your mental burdens to the Lord, the more exciting it gets to see how God will handle the things that are impossible for you to do anything about.

We humans are forgetful creatures by nature. Our attention drifts after only a few moments, memories begin to fade almost as soon as they're created, and promises made in good times are often forgotten when life gets difficult.
Perhaps you've had a similar experience involving your faith. When life gets hard—because of relationship difficulties, trouble at work, uncertainty about finances, or any number of other things—it's easy to slip into a funk. You're still reasonably confident there is a God somewhere, but you don't recognize Him when He's right in front of you. Thankfully, no matter how many times you lose sight of Him, He promises, ""I will not forget you. Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands"" (Isa. 49:15-16).
I learned something about how God endures with me when my heart wanders. I forget Him, so He does the remembering for me. God entered my past fully and refuses to let go. He continually and patiently calls me back, no matter how far away I drift.
