It’s been a MASTERPIECE of a week so far at VBS 🎉

We’ve spent these first couple of days reminding our kids of one truth: they are created by God and designed for a purpose.

We’ve been singing loud, laughing often, and learning about the Artist who made each of us on purpose and for a purpose - and its been showing in every smile, every craft, and every quiet moment of worship ❤️

We hope that every child who walks through our doors leaves feeling more confident in who they are and whose they are.

Grateful for these little masterpieces and for a week we won’t forget 🙌🏼

We can’t wait to see you tonight for day 3 of VBS!

Forgiving someone doesn’t mean what they did was okay. It doesn’t mean you have to forget, or pretend it didn’t hurt, or let them back into the same space they were before.

Forgiveness was never about giving permission - it’s about giving up the right to let that pain keep running your life.

When you hold onto bitterness, you’re not punishing them. You’re just staying chained to the moment that hurt you.

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” - Ephesians 4:31-32

God’s forgiveness was never permission for sin, it was the price He paid for our freedom. He’s just asking us to extend the same.

Let go. Not for them. For you. 🕊️

Today we continued our “In Christ” series through Ephesians, and on this Father’s Day, we are reminded of the greatest Father of all ✝️

“For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.” - Ephesians 3:14-15

Grateful for the earthly fathers who reflect His love, and for our Heavenly Father who call us His own 🤍

Tomorrow we continue our journey through Ephesians with Pastor Ethan, as we keep digging into what it means to walk in a way worthy of our calling. This Sunday, we celebrate the men who show up for their families, for their faith, and for our church family đź’™

Fatherhood isn’t always easy. But it’s one of the most important callings there is.

To the dads who lead with patience. To the granddads who lead with wisdom. To the father figures who stepped up when it mattered most - THANK YOU.

“Like a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.” - Psalm 103:13

We’re praying for every dad in our church family - and every man who’s been a father figure to someone who needed one.

To those missing a father, or walking through a hard relationship with one - we see you, and we’re praying for you too.

This coming Sunday, we wish a Happy Father’s Day to all of you. We’re grateful for you 🙏

Serving your community doesn't have to be complicated or overwhelming - it just has to start.

It begins by looking for the need right in front of you. You don't have to go far. A neighbor who needs groceries, a coworker going through a hard season, a family at your kid's school - community starts close to home.

It means giving what you already have. Time, skills, clothing, a spare afternoon. Generous people rarely feel fully ready, but they show up anyway.

It grows when you find a local ministry already doing good work and get behind them. They know the needs. You bring the hands.

It deepens when you bring your kids along - because service is caught, not just taught. Let them see you showing up for others, and it shapes them in ways that last a lifetime.

And it changes you when you make it a habit instead of a one-time moment. Put it on the calendar like anything else that matters.

Your community doesn't need a perfect person. It needs a present one.

Start where you are. Start this week. 🙌

One of the most freeing truths of the gospel is that we don’t have to perform for God’s approval.

In Christ, we are already loved, already accepted, already His.

That’s why good works aren’t about earning salvation, they’re about reflecting it.

When you encourage a friend, serve a neighbor, welcome a stranger, pray for someone hurting, or use your gifts to build up the church, you’re putting the love of Christ on display.

God doesn’t need our good works.

But the people around us do.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” - Ephesians 2:10
