I'm not sure on the title for this piece yet, it'll come to me as I finish it. This is a commission & I hope she likes it, because its telling me that most of the elements that needed to be included are in there. Details and finishing up the giraffes are all that's left ( & a frame ).
The quickest way I can explain my art is this: I explore depths of color within subjects and elements built up as they present themselves to me. I start with a basic subject
(giraffes in this case) and move forward from there. So each painting is a journey for me. I intentionally keep the design loose in order for the painting to develop as I go, because I enjoy the freedom of expression and creativity this offers my work.
