Final 2021 photo had to be this one! I am missing the talent, laughter, and support these crazy Colorado kids brought to every single productions. The trenches of set build the best relationships. 📸Denver Film Festival 44 2021 photos - Music Video Mixtape and more! The entire film festival ran from Nov. 3rd-14th and soaked up as much as I could!🤓🎬

There were endless movie premieres, showcases, and red carpets as well as film industry panels, networking events, creative Q&As, and the occasional virtual reality session!

I saw a total of 8 films and loved every second of it! Huge shout out to the DFF Team for all their hard work and dedication.

Our music video with O.D.D.I.T.Y “The Cycle” feat. Keiana Whatley showed twice (Nov 11th & 12th) as part of the Music Video Mixtape - the line up is picture 3! It was received very well and our team answered questions about the technical side of the video as well as the touching lyrics and video concept.

Our first shots in the warehouse dojo location was amazing!!! Once we had our lighting set up we were able to play, rotate and dance around the space 360 degrees! Jason captured a talent discussion… Mike Wallace, Lucas & Logan Turner finds their inner center. Channeling their inner ninja!

I can’t wait to see this film in front of theatre audience! There is no other sinking-heart-nervous-happy feeling like it!

Our 48 Hour film production, “Dojo Dad” made the 2021 “Best of Screening” this Friday!!! A huge congratulations to all the other teams that participated this year. The event will be at the Bug Theatre October 8th starting at 7pm — hope to see you there.

The 48 hour film project is a sleepless weekend (Friday - Sunday) where a team of filmmakers concepts, writes, films, edits, and submits a film based off a genre pulled out of a hat and predetermined story elements (character, occupation, prop, line of dialogue)! It is a crazy time and this was our 6th year participating! I love every second of these wild weekend… AND it wouldn’t be possible without an understanding, unconventional, and experienced team. Thank you to everyone who helped “Dojo Dad” become a reality.
