The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) was founded in November 2007 to help Asian heritage scientific and engineering professionals achieve their full potential. Organizations existed for other affinity groups - The National Society of Black Engineers, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and the Society of Women Engineers – and there was a need for a similar organization

Thank You CAIES - Chinese American Institute of Engineers & Scientists for inviting us to the Transbay Terminal Site visit. The site visit was a great experience to learn about the new station being built in San Francisco, transforming the way we travel!

Thank you SASE - UC Santa Cruz for having us at their third annual intel networking event. There were many working professionals who provided us useful information for professional development. Stay tuned for the next event!

We are having out first meeting on Tuesday, February 7, of next week in the room SCI 256 at 12:30pm. Pizza and refreshments will be served. You do not have to be Asian to join, all students are welcome!
The purpose of this club, is to provide job readiness, professional development, and networking opportunities for undergraduate students. Also a support network for people studying science and engineering.
